Conversations with Conscience.

Solemnly united with Md.'Athoullah At-Tamimi on 090507.

A Rebirth; a new life-with Him.

Her strife towards becoming an Alpha Female.

hush; and listen to your conscience.

See it in a new colour, hear it in a new music, every moment, every moment ;

utter a different language, smell a new fragrance, taste an unfarmiliar flavour...

every minute, every minute, is something new.

See the world as it is, because it then assumes a new complexion.

Because

simple explanations and dry rationalism fails us most of the time. Be amused, be critical.

So hush, listen to yourself;

listen intently to your thoughts.

Then, and only then,

can you be brave enough

to understand.

Understand yourself first, and then everything else will fall into place.

Nice beefs.

"what am i sppossd to do if i sddenly get draggd into adult politics?"

"You don't take sides. It would make matters worse. Be above all that. "

FUYO. that was one of the most empowering SMS replies i've ever received. tau.

with this, it is now time for a dose of input:

1) in life, it is important to be streetsmart. never keep ur guard down, it is important to have a bit of room for doubt.

2) stand up for yourself when you need to. in doing this speak firmly, but be polite.

3) speak thy mind; voice your conscience when u feel that things/situations are not going in the right direction. trust ur instincts, but do be careful in doing this.(pray hard.)

4) don't be too anxiously aggressive(does tt even make sense..?) to make yourself heard. the opinions of calm people are being considered/respected more than those voiced by emotional people. (keyword : be diplomatic.)speak in few words, be direct, be confident. be honest, but not impolite; show that u've got class.

you see, my darlings, when u travel, u get to delve into the hidden dimensions of the human psychology & the human spirit.when u react well to trials & tribulations, u learn so many things at once...u gotta know how to step up,u gotta know how to play your game, u gotta learn how to manipulate & react to mind games in order to not be stepped upon.

aahhh...welcome to the real world.

rough as it sounds, nonetheless, ya'll get to learn...

  • to spot in a split second whether someone is being honest with you. this in itself would need your understanding if sometimes you can see that they terpaksa be dishonest/tell a white lie to u. faham-faham je la..
  • to identify in a split second if you yourself is being genuine or not.
  • that the category of people often being looked down upon are actually the real underdogs who are actually more promising than the promising-looking group.(which is why now i make a habit of approaching & making friends with selenger-looking kids. strike a conversation with them, and trust me, you'll find substance & intellectuality.)

anyways.

have been at Penang for a month for a mini "entrepeneurship" project.(oh well...at least i got a lot of exposure...*shrug) and i can't believe i actually bought stuff while in Penang!! i mean, i'm not really a consumerist, unlike u guys,hahaaa..still, i bought a pair of sunglasses (Bah broke mine and i'm yet to claim the money frm her, haha), a nice cream jacket (which can also be a poncho if u wear it terbalik), new pair of red half-rimmed spectacles, perfume, and an imitation Davidoff vaporiser(which they spelt as Daodaff, btw, and is abit disappointing cos the scent lasts on ur hand for a mere 10 minutes?haha padan muke to me..) i believe what i was engaging in is called 'retail therapy'? *giggles to myself*

anyways again. it's nice to have instant connections with people that u've just met.

chemistry.

u don't have to be close to that person or be with that person a lot in order to spot that u have chemistry with them. it becomes a quiet understanding b/w the both of you. heh.

for e.g. me and this senior from Mawaddah Pusat. when we meet face-to-face, we don't even say 'hi' or smile at each other. (we used to be each other's stiff competition, cuz we hv the same talents,ya know) but when we don't meet, we'll have brief sms converstaions implying that we really have respect on each other's work and indirectly give each other support & advice. i beleive it's kinda called sportsmanship of some kind? cuz winning isn't when u jatuhkan ur competitor, winning is when u get your competitor to respect u. then and only then it truly becomes a win-win game.

nyahahaha. (you: *rolls eyes*)

about turning 18

i've never quite bothered abt my birthday, much less other ppl's birthdays. but lately i've been voluntarily giving ppl impromptu gifts for fun, like if i just bought a nice pin, and a friend sees it and she says 'eh,cantik la..', i'd give it to her. just in an effort to be a more compassionate person.(ok,u can laugh at me now). and then i remember the saying 'what goes around comes around';on my birthday and the days after my birthday ppl have been giving me sort-of gifts...not neccessarily new gifts, but, like, give me their outfits that they can't quite fit anymore, their new jewellery that they received but they do not want, etc. haha, kinda sounds pathetic, i know, but it's kinda sweet of them, and it's a kinda nice feeling, really. heh.

but seriously. only God knows how the past year hath been for me.

12.06.2005- 12.06.2006..much has happened, bittersweet remembrances.the bitter ones are really bitter, and the sweet ones really...sweet.

but in the end, everything is just a good mix, you know? (alar, macam muesli gitu. healthy mix,you know, bitter at..certain points of chewing? ok, i'm not making sense.pffft.)

and i know because of what i've had to go thru, i am now stronger, more tolerant and definitely more positive.

sigh.

amin.
